Google Translate

At a recent meeting with parents that did not speak English.... we had a little communication mishap.

In English the paperwork read: "Student will get off the bus at the closest safe spot".

When Google Translate altered it so the parents (who only spoke Spanish) could read it, it said:
"Student is to be thrown off the bus to be caught safely".

It took awhile for us to figure out why the parents thought we were not considering their child's best interests!! :)
